We are an experienced team with extensive PE and M&A background, with combined experience of over 30yrs in transactions across varied sectors. The team members enjoy a wide experience of the Indian Private Equity industry having worked throughout the life cycle of investment, starting from sourcing, investing, monitoring and exit. We benefit from international exposure as well, having working experience in several global markets.
Our combination of skills, including deep industry, technical, financial, operating and transactional capabilities, make us the preferred partner for the portfolio companies such that we are able to contribute to their success at multiple levels.
We pride ourselves at being company-builders and not merely investment-managers. Our combined experience gives us an understanding of the challenges that the portfolio company managers face and this ability to identify and contribute to resolving the problems make us very effective champions of value creation.

| Ramesh Venkat, CEO/MD |  |
Ramesh is the CEO/MD of Reliance ADA Private Equity.
Ramesh has been part of the senior management of the Reliance ADA group since its formation over 3 years ago with primary responsibility for finance, treasury and M & A across the various group companies, and active involvement across a range of other strategic and operational initiatives in the group. Prior to this, he was Group CFO and a member of the Executive Committee of Vedanta Resources plc, a FTSE 100 company. Ramesh started his career with Unilever in India, and thereafter worked in Corporate and Investment banking for around 12 years in ANZ Grindlays bank, the then largest foreign bank in India, and Credit Lyonnais.
He has acquired extensive experience in M & A and investment situations during his banking career as well as with Vedanta and Reliance ADA. These include Bharat Aluminium Co Ltd., Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Australian copper mines, Konkola Copper Ltd (Zambia) in Vedanta, and several landmark transactions in Reliance ADA group in India and overseas. He was part of the core team working on large acquisition transactions such as Hutchison India and MTN South Africa which involved complex structuring, negotiations, valuation, private equity and other dimensions, In addition, he has worked extensively in Corporate finance; Private equity investments in Reliance ADA companies in the areas of telecom, asset management, and entertainment; joint ventures in India and overseas; equity and debt restructuring, and related areas. He is extensively networked in the corporate and financial circles in India and in many other emerging markets and financial centers. |
| Snehal Shah,
Director |  |
Snehal is a Director with Reliance ADA Private Equity.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Snehal worked for close to 8 years with Actis where he was primarily focused on investments in the pharmaceutical/healthcare space apart from focusing on other sectors. Some of his prominent investments have been the Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a leading Indian pharma company and the Veeda Clinical Research, a leading clinical research company, for business acquisitions. He was also part of the buyout of MFE Formwork, Malaysia, a leading aluminum manufacturing company, assisting them in setting-up their India manufacturing and team recruitment.
Before Actis, Snehal spent 5 years with ICICI Venture, where he made several investments covering media, retail and pharma sectors. Some of his notable investments include start-up funding of TV Today television network, Pantaloon Retail and Intas Pharma.
During his tenure in the private equity space, Snehal has worked throughout the life cycle of investment, starting from sourcing, investing, monitoring and exit.

| Rahul Manek,
Director |  |
Rahul is a Director with Reliance ADA Private Equity.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Rahul worked for close to five years with Reliance ADA Group, where he was primarily responsible for corporate finance and treasury functions. Rahul has been involved in groups M&A transactions including the Hutch and the MTN transactions and has been leading capital raising activities for the groups' telecom, energy & power, entertainment and financial services businesses.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Group he was with Enercon, primarily raising project finance for wind power projects. He has more than 11 years of global experience in areas of M&A, project finance, structured & asset finance, leverage finance, debt and equity capital markets.
Rahul holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University, has an MBA from Bombay University and a Masters in Financial Engineering from Cornell University. |
| RS Prakash,
Principal |  |
RR S Prakash is a Principal with Reliance ADA Private Equity.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Prakash worked with Actis for 2 years, where he primarily focused on investments in retail, consumer goods and logistics space. He led and executed the marquee control investment in Nilgiri's, a 100 year old leading heritage brand in food retail. He also played a key role in executing the Actis' investment in Sandhar, a leading auto ancillary company based in North India.
Prior to Actis, Prakash was a part of the M&A & corporate finance team at Ernst & Young, for 4 years. Some of the key transactions executed by him included asset fund raising in Aban Loyd, acquisition of a controlling stake by Sibelco in Gimpex, sale of controlling stake in Lotus Labs to Actavis, restructuring Manipal group, a healthcare & education leader and of Sami Labs, a US leader in nutraceuticals.
He was also a part of the corporate finance team at Arthur Andersen for 2 years and successfully executed some key transactions in the Sterlite group, Hutch, and Precision Wires amongst others. Before that he was a senior analyst at ICRA primarily focusing on ratings in banks & financial institutions and insurance sector.

| Hari Agrawal,
CFO |  |
Hari is the CFO of Reliance ADA Private Equity.
Prior to joining Reliance, Hari was the CFO at Sequoia Capital India, which was formed along with WestBridge Capital Partners, which he joined in 2000. At Sequoia, Hari was responsible for overseeing the firm's legal, financial and administrative activities as well as LP communications. He was extensively involved with the firm's portfolio companies in various capacities such as due diligence, M&A, banking, debt raising and general portfolio monitoring activities. Hari has been involved in more than 50 investments at Sequoia Capital India which cover investments in retail, IT, ITES, internet, life sciences, financial services and infrastructure.
Prior to joining WestBridge, Hari was the Financial Controller at Ford Credit Kotak Mahindra, where he was responsible for setting up and monitoring accounting systems, financial analysis & management reporting systems, and working capital management including fund raising for the Indian operations. Prior to Ford Credit, he was the Head of Operations for long term lending products at Kotak Mahindra Finance.
Hari is a Chartered Accountant having secured a merit list in the final year and has a B. Com from Sydenham College, Mumbai. Hari completed his schooling from The Scindia School, Gwalior |
| Amrita Sabnavis,
Vice President |  |
Amrita Sabnavis is a Vice President with Reliance Private Equity.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Amrita worked with HDFC Bank as Vice President where she headed a product management team responsible for delivery of banking products and services to high networth clients of the bank.
Amrita has had consumer banking and wealth management experience, and has specifically been responsible for providing financial advisory services to a plethora of individual and corporate clients, in turn ensuring client profitability and consistent share of wallet. She has worked with organisations like Standard Chartered Bank and JM Morgan Stanley over the span of her career.
Amrita holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and a Masters in Management Studies from Mumbai University.

| Anand Mundra,
Vice President |  |
Anand is a Vice President with the Investment Team.
He has a total experience of 7 years. Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Anand worked with ICICI Venture as Vice President where he was primarily responsible for investments in the real estate sector and active portfolio monitoring. He was also involved in a stock broking company and evaluating proposals in healthcare and hospitality sectors. Anand worked on evaluating several investment opportunities in the real estate and infrastructure sectors, including a transaction which, if completed, would have been the largest transaction in the Indian real estate sector. He led ICICI Venture's efforts in structuring and modeling the funds' real estate portfolio for a potential listing on LSE. Anand also worked on investment proposals as Risk Analyst in various sectors.
Prior to ICICI Venture, he worked with ICICI Bank for close to five years in the Credit Risk Management Group focusing on lending to individuals and large Indian corporates.
Anand has experience in the investment, credit appraisals, business development, risk analysis and management areas in various sectors.
Anand is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from DAVV University, Indore.

| Manish Chhajed,
Vice President |  |
Manish Chhajed is a Vice President with the Investment Team.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Manish worked with Temasek Holdings and Vertex Management Pte Limited (Venture Capital arm of Temasek Holdings) for over three years. At Vertex he was primarily responsible for investments in India and for the business development of Vertex Israel portfolio companies in South East Asia. Some of the key deals Manish led while at Vertex are investments into Everonn Systems India Limited, India's second largest technology aided knowledge services company and M&B Footwear, a leading shoe manufacturer and retailer. While at Temasek Manish was part of the team that invested into Citic Resources, the fourth largest oil and gas company in China and also the Asia Pacific Exploration Consolidated, a startup exploration company focusing on South East Asian Oil and Gas assets.
Manish has a broad exposure to various sectors such as auto ancillary, power ancillary, telecom, media, technology, logistics, and retail. Prior to Temasek Holdings, he worked for two years with Defense Research Development Organization, India.
Manish holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur and received his PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

| Siddhartha Mundra,
Vice President |  |
Siddhartha Mundra is a Vice President with the Investment Team.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Siddhartha worked for three years with ICICI Venture, where he was primarily responsible for investments in the technology, media and telecom sectors. Few of the prominent investments he has been involved with include investment in Gateway Distriparks Limited., a leading CFS/ICD provider and investment in PVR Pictures, a leading company in film production and distribution. In addition, he has had a broad exposure to various sectors like IT, logistics, healthcare and retail. He was also involved in the active monitoring of portfolio companies across sectors like aviation, media and IT/ITES. Some of other key investments Siddhartha worked on were Geometric Software, and Deccan Aviation.
Prior to ICICI Venture he worked for two years with Cisco Systems as a software engineer.
Siddhartha holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Gold Medalist) from National Institute of Technology, Warangal and has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

| Rubin Chheda,

Rubin Chheda is a Senior Associate with Reliance ADA Private Equity.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, he worked for more than 2 years with consulting firms Ernst & Young and PricewaterHouse Coopers, in New York, in their Transaction Advisory practice. He was primarily involved in valuation of companies for the purpose of merger and acquisition, financial reporting and financial & tax restructuring. Some of the clients he worked with include GE, Time Warner, Vodafone, Office Depot, AIG, Metlife, and Novo Nordisk among others. Prior to that, he worked for two and half years with GE Capital, in Chicago, as a credit underwriter in their Corporate Lending group.
Rubin holds a Bachelors of Commerce from Poddar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai University and has a MBA from University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (certified in Illinois) and is actively pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (awaiting Level 3 results). |
| Binoy Shah,

Binoy is an Associate with the Investment Team.
Prior to joining Reliance ADA Private Equity, Binoy worked with GE Capital in London for a year in the leveraged finance group where he was responsible for fixed income investments in the food and beverage industry. Prior to GE, Binoy worked with Citigroup for 3 years in New York in their corporate finance division. At Citigroup, he primarily focused on valuations and worked across products (equity, fixed income and mergers and acquisitions) to execute transactions in the airline and industrial sectors.
Binoy holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Rochester and has an MBA from London Business School in Finance and Private Equity. |
